Dr. Yok-Fong Paat is a professor of social work at The University of Texas at El Paso and a Clinical Social Worker licensed in the state of Texas. Trained in the fields of social work, sociology (areas of concentration: sociology of the family and quantitative methods), data analytics, and applied statistics, she is actively involved in research related to family health, health behavior, health disparities, community health, mental health, child well-being, interpersonal violence, targeted violence, education, social integration, social justice, altruism, migration, immigration, and homeland security.
