Noora Abdulkerim is a New York based licensed psychologist who is passionate about improving mental health treatment for diverse communities. She has provided direct mental health care to clients of different ages, religions and ethnic backgrounds in school, hospital and community health center settings. She has also provided behavioral health technical assistance support as a consultant at Coordinated Care Services in Rochester. Additionally, she has pursued research in the areas of culturally adapting mental health interventions and the mental health impacts of racial socialization. Furthermore, as a child of Eritrean immigrants, she has had a personal connection to the immigrant community and has supported African communities through her volunteer work with the African Bridge Network program.
